Construction of the cathedral’s dome project was spearheaded by the architect Filippo Juvarra. Inside the church, you can admire tapestries of the 16th and 17th centuries from Ferrara, Florence and Brussels, as well as Bernardino Luini's and Gaudenzio Ferrari's paintings, dated around 1500 AD. Likewise, the Walk of Villas is not to be missed: stretching along the lake, it allows you to admire the ancient villas dated between 700 and 800 AD, acting as protagonists of this enchanting scenery.
